Lakie Blech, ME.d. — Educational Consultant & Mentor

Meet Lakie Blech, ME.d.

Lakie Blech is a Phoenix-based educational consultant, innovator, and mentor who describes herself simply as someone who “makes things better.” Originally from Monsey, New York, Lakie's career has spanned multiple arenas of education, always driven by a desire to create meaningful impact.

Her journey into education was unconventional. After building a successful fitness career teaching hundreds of women weekly, Lakie transitioned into teaching at a Montessori school. Her vision was so compelling that the school transformed from a dual curriculum into a fully integrated Montessori institution.

Moving into traditional Jewish education, Lakie developed an innovative color-based curriculum that helped students connect deeply with Chumash teachings. As Director of Innovation at Phoenix Hebrew Academy, she championed technology integration and marketing strategies that positioned the school as a center of educational excellence.

Today, as an Instructional Coach at Lomdei, Lakie supports teachers across Jewish day schools in implementing blended and personalized learning. She also independently consults with schools, teachers, and educational institutions on everything from curriculum design to professional development.

As she puts it: “It just took a little bit of chutzpah, just like any big initiative in life does.”
